We understand that guests may have some questions in mind for us, so to help with the most common questions, we have prepared this FAQ in advance. That said, if in doubt, please reach out!

Dining

 

Our wedding reception will be taking place at the Fallon & Byrne Ballroom in Dublin City Centre. Fallon & Byrne, a beloved South Dublin classic, has played a special role in our love story for the past few years (through so many shared sweet-treats). We’re thrilled to celebrate with you at this absolutely iconic venue. 

 

We aim to start our sit-down meal at 6 pm. Food will most likely be served family-style, with a sharing board course, a warm meal with side dishes (vegetarian options available), and a dessert course served alongside coffee and tea. Please let us know of any allergies and food sensitivities in your RSVP. 

 

A cash bar will be available for drinks all throughout the evening.

Unplugged ceremony

 

We have hired a professional photographer to capture our wedding ceremony. Therefore we kindly request an unplugged ceremony to ensure that our photographer can work uninterrupted. Please refrain from using phones and/or personal cameras during our ceremony. We’re grateful for your understanding and look forward to enjoying our ceremony without the distraction of devices. We will share the professional photos with our guests once we receive them.

Personal pictures are okay and encouraged during the reception and afters!

Transport

 

Guests will be asked to make their own way from the ceremony to the reception. We have chosen venues that are within a short distance of each other. 

 

To allow the newlyweds some time for photographs, there will be a break between the ceremony and the reception. We advise that guests use this time to partake in some local pub culture, as this has become an unofficial custom for city centre weddings :)

Parking

 

Paid parking will be available at the church. There are several locations for parking in the vicinity of our reception venue, including: Grafton Car Park (Clarendon Street), Q-Park Setanta Place and Q-Park Fleet Street.

To allow for a more intimate celebration, we kindly ask that this celebration be reserved for the invited guests only.

We are still in the process of planning our afterparty! We will reach out with more details closer to the time of our wedding.
